This Payment Policy describes how payments are processed within the 1Heart application operated by Rootlynk Technology Private Limited. We are committed to providing secure, transparent, and convenient payment options for our users.

Payment Methods Supported

1Heart supports multiple payment methods to provide convenience and flexibility:

Digital Payments

  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface): Pay using any UPI-enabled app including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and banking apps
  • Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay
  • Debit Cards: All major bank debit cards
  • Net Banking: Internet banking from major banks
  • Mobile Wallets: Select digital wallets

Payment Processing

All digital payments are processed through authorized payment gateway partners. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information.

Security of Payments

Our Security Measures

  • We do not store card details: Your credit/debit card information is not stored on our servers. All card data is handled directly by our payment gateway partners.
  • Secure Payment Gateway: Payments are processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways that comply with PCI-DSS standards
  • Encrypted Transactions: All payment data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption
  • Secure Authentication: Additional security layers like OTP verification for card payments

User Responsibilities

To ensure secure transactions, we recommend:

  • Never share your payment credentials with anyone
  • Verify the payment amount before confirming
  • Use secure networks when making payments
  • Keep your device and apps updated
  • Report any suspicious activity immediately

Payment Process

Making a Payment

  1. Select the service you wish to pay for within the app
  2. Review the payment amount and service details
  3. Choose your preferred payment method
  4. Complete the payment authentication (OTP, UPI PIN, etc.)
  5. Receive confirmation of successful payment

Payment Confirmation

Upon successful payment:

  • You will see a confirmation screen in the app
  • A payment receipt will be available in your transaction history
  • You may receive a confirmation notification/SMS
  • The service will be activated or booking confirmed

Failed Transactions

Common Reasons for Payment Failure

  • Insufficient balance in account
  • Incorrect payment credentials
  • Bank server issues
  • Network connectivity problems
  • Transaction timeout
  • Daily transaction limit exceeded

What Happens When a Payment Fails

  • Money Debited: If money was debited but the transaction failed, the amount will be automatically refunded to your account within 5-7 business days
  • Money Not Debited: If money was not debited, you can retry the payment
  • Partial Debit: In rare cases of partial debit, please contact support with your transaction details

Reporting Failed Transactions

If you face issues with a payment:

  1. Check your bank account/UPI app for the transaction status
  2. Wait for a few minutes as sometimes confirmation is delayed
  3. If the issue persists, contact us at support@1heart.in with:
    • Transaction reference number
    • Date and time of transaction
    • Amount
    • Payment method used
    • Screenshot of the error (if available)

Transaction History and Receipts

All your payment transactions are recorded and accessible through the app:

  • View complete transaction history in your account
  • Download or share payment receipts
  • Filter transactions by date, type, or status
  • View detailed breakdown of each payment

Pricing and Fees

Service Pricing

  • Prices for services are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • All applicable taxes are included in the displayed price unless stated otherwise
  • Prices may vary based on the healthcare provider and service type
  • Special offers or discounts may be available from time to time

Payment Gateway Fees

We do not charge any additional convenience fees for digital payments. The price you see is the price you pay.

Invoices and Tax Documentation

For payments made through 1Heart:

  • Digital receipts are generated for all transactions
  • Invoices are available for download from the app
  • GST details are included where applicable
  • For tax documentation needs, contact support

Refunds

For information about refunds, cancellations, and eligibility, please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method:

  • UPI payments refunded to originating UPI ID
  • Card payments refunded to the original card
  • Net banking refunded to the bank account

Currency

All transactions on 1Heart are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). International cards may be subject to currency conversion fees by your card issuer.

Payment Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a payment:

  1. Contact us first at support@1heart.in
  2. Provide complete transaction details
  3. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  4. If unresolved, you may escalate through your bank's dispute process

Changes to Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of payment features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
